Pulverised Fuel Ash
or Fly Ash

Fly ash otherwise called pulverised fuel ash (PFA) is a combustion by-product obtained from burning coal. It is composed of fine particulates that are driven out of coal-fired boilers together with the flue gasses. In modern coal-fired power plants, fly ash is generally captured by electrostatic precipitators or other particle filtration equipment before the flue gasses reach the chimneys.

Applications

Our product is an ideal substitute for Ordinary Portland cement in the manufacture of Green concrete, since PFA or Fly Ash is carbon neutral i.e. in the production of Fly Ash no new CO2 is released and hence it leads to reduce CO2 emissions for concrete production.

Characteristics

The spherical shape of Fly Ash aids in the improvement of the properties of concrete when used. More over it provides aid to concrete against harsh environment making it an ideal choice for use in dry, humid conditions.
